The wait was finally over as UAE residents spotted a Buck Moon on Thursday, July 10, marking the first full moon of the summer. Dubai Astronomy Group shared a series of photos on Instagram. What is a Buck Moon?

The name 'Buck Moon' originates from North American tribes. Male deer or bucks shed and regrow their antlers each year, and July's full moon rises at the same time the animals' antlers are in full growth mode.
