Key Responsibilities

The Head of Research for Nielsen Sports & Entertainment will be responsible for designing, selling and delivering quantitative and qualitative research projects and tools across all major stakeholders in the MENAP sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, sell and deliver quantitative and qualitative research projects and tools across the MENAP sports and entertainment industry.
• Be an expert in each stage of the end-to-end research process.
• Contribute to the growth of the MENAP Revenue for Nielsen Sports & Entertainment through research projects and tools.
• Provide support for other high value research proposals across global Nielsen Sports & Entertainment teams when required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in the delivery of large scale research projects to enhance quality & delivery speed as well as lowering costs.
• Be a Thought Leader in Sports & Entertainment sponsorship research by providing expertise and input in both internal publications in Nielsen Entertainment and external publications in the industry.
• Train and prepare sales collateral for Nielsen Sports & Entertainment sales and client service teams on Nielsen's higher level consumer insight capabilities to enable them to identify opportunities to cross sell these more effectively.

Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in designing, selling and delivering quantitative custom research projects. Some
experience of qualitative research would also be useful
• Experience of data visualization and outstanding ability in explaining complex things in a simple and
accessible way.
• Experience in managing syndicated research products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Energetic self-starter, who will work with minimal supervision and a great deal of flexibility.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and see multiple concurrent projects to a successful conclusion.
• Strong questionnaire design skills, and the confidence to manage complex research design where there are
multiple internal and client stakeholders.
