Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain an organized and orderly filing system of all accounting documents.
• Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results and reports.
• Schedule payments for accounts payable promptly.
• Ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable.
• Prepare projections annually and update monthly with actual figures.
• Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
• High-level financial reporting and analysis.
• Regular budget consolidation.
• Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
• Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances; making investments.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and autonomous.
• Managing all finance and accounting operations.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
Specialities
• Certified Public Accountant.
