Key Responsibilities

The PR Account Manager is responsible for handling multiple client accounts and provide tactical counsel to clients, manage the appropriate implementation on a variety of projects on time and budget.
Serve as a primary client contact with the ability to manage multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic value- Plan, develop and advise clients on integrated and measurable PR programs- Provide client counsel on tactical matters, linked to strategic pr plans including positioning and messaging- Multitask across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline- Ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within set timelines and on budget- Develop and nurture media relationships with trade and business media- Analyze complex briefs and distil them into simple, engaging content- Manage client issues with the support of junior and senior staff if needed- Generate story ideas and topic angles- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills- Quickly grasp new technologies and account duties- Supervise and mentor entry to mid-level team members- Work with Account Director to manage client budgets and staffing- Work with representatives from other viola divisions to ascertain smooth implementation of shared accounts- Identify business opportunities and maximize Client’s growth potential- Develop and conduct client presentations- Monitor, collate and analyze media coverage- Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs etc, in order to identify opportunities for clients;
Write press kit documents as well as news releases and pitch letters or emails or other content within the client’s scope of work- Proof and edit client related documents as needed- Attend client-media meetings and interviews- Attend client meetings and prepare contact reports- Prepare regular client reports such as monthly and quarterly reports and weekly status reports- Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business- Identify new business opportunities and maximize client’s growth potential through highly polished pitches, detailed research and targeted networking. Delegate work to interns and Account Executives (as needed)- Perform various administrative tasks as assigned- Produce weekly activity reports for projects they are working onRequired Experience:
Minimum 4 years in PR capacities 1 year of which in mid-level Media Relations/PR position- Minimum 2 years’ experience in UAE- Multi sector experience with focus on Public Sector highly preferred- Past multinational/regional agency experience a must- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Journalism or Business Administration- Previous specialized training and/or certification is a plusJob Type: Full-time
