POSITION PURPOSE:

Working closely with PHD’s CEO for MENA and other office leaders in the region, the Marketing Manager reports to the UAE Managing Director and performs a range of tasks, including:

Enhancing the agency’s reputation through the creation and deployment of an effective communications strategy to impact different stakeholders, with a strong focus on content marketing across print, digital and live platforms
Contributing to business growth through effective information management and the production of impactful commercial material, working from lead generation to conversion
Supporting internal units with various forms of collateral development and event production


QUALIFIED CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

A minimum of five years of experience in a B2B marketing role, with at least two in a manager position
A demonstrable knowledge of marketing professional services, digital and content marketing as well as relevant KPIs. Understanding of the media/advertising sector a plus
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Writing and editing experience required with a background in journalism and/or PR preferred
Design flair and expertise with Microsoft Office and Adobe products
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Event planning and execution (seminars and conferences)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think strategically
Bright, charismatic and inspirational with the ability to win credibility internally
Proven ability in negotiation and dealing with senior executives
Attention to detail and resilience to stress


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand communications

Set and manage the annual marketing strategy to meet business goals, inclusive of identifying strategic positioning, key communication strategies and messages
Devise and execute annual marketing plans covering content, digital/social marketing, advertising, events and brand collateral, both with regular marketing material and ad-hoc
Produce both long-form and short form content to run across platforms, maintain social media platforms and maximize their performance
Monitor and report on competitive activities and market trends
Develop and maintain close relationships with editors to ensure maximum coverage
Create, produce and deploy events (conferences, seminars etc.) to illustrate the brand’s positioning and messaging
Track and report the performance of all communications activities with meaningful KPIs
Efficiently manage the marketing budget of each office
Ensure the brand expresses itself appropriately and effectively across all touch-points and in accordance to brand guidelines
Support internal communications in close collaboration with relevant departments and stakeholders
Contribute to the agency’s participation at industry and awards festivals, reviewing submissions, supporting with material production, organizing speaking engagements and potentially activating sponsorships


Business Development

Research prospects and identify communication strategies for each selected target
Liaise with global network/offices on international pitches
Collaborate with EMEA HQ and individual offices on all information submissions and requests
Drive and project manage key local pitches, including the production of all marketing and pitching materials (documents, presentations, video etc. )
Support regional offices’ new business activities (prospection and pitches)

Skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree is preferred


Languages:

English: fluency is essential
Arabic: professional proficiency a definite plus
French: a welcomed luxury
