Key Responsibilities

- To Work closely with the CLO together with other members of the teams to provide legal and regulatory support on a range of matters
- To work closely with the Licensing & Regulatory Affairs team to ensure that the incorporation and licensing processes of the Media Zone Authority are administered appropriately
- To provide support to the Licensing & Regulatory Affairs team in relation to full regulatory framework including company law issues, licensing regulations and content related matters in relation to dissemination activities
- To mentor and train Emirati colleagues to deal with licensing and regulatory matters.
- To provide legal and regulatory support in respect of day-to-day operations of the organization
- To develop and implement the regulatory framework for the MZA in relation to media law and content
- To assist all departments with stakeholder engagement whether with partner companies or government entities
- Working with other members of the legal team to provide legal support and training, where relevant, for the organization generally

Skills

- Prior experience and quality training at a law firm or company with a significant legal department and/or sophisticated practic
- In-house practical experience Regulatory and content related aspects of media law.
