Key Responsibilities
As an Editor in Chief, your primary duties will be but not limited to:
Write, review and edit material to ensure the coherence, consistency and key messages and other strategic content across the Operations Department.
Write insightful reports from multi sources that provide context, analysis and detailed backgrounds.
Maintain consistency of spelling and grammar with editing and writing of publications.
Support the activities of editing, writing of reports and executive summaries within the Operations Department.
Provide training and coaching for writers / editors.
Contribute to the development of formats and guidelines for company documentation.
Ensures effective planning of timelines to meet deadlines for publications, documents, and other materials.
Work closely with the Director of Content Insights to develop industry reports and marketable products.
Qualifications:
BA or MA in English, Linguistics, Translation, or any other related field.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience a media or language industry
Competencies:
Must have higher-than-average ability and excellent English & Arabic language.
English writing and editing skills.
Excellent knowledge of, and experience in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Good command of Internet searches.
