Writer/Translator in CARMA - UAE

Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, verifying and analyzing thoroughly information provided by Reader from Media Monitoring Department.
- Collects news reports from different sources (Social Media Networks, Internal Systems, Automated Newsletter, etc.)
- Selects, translates and/or summarizes relevant articles from English into Arabic and vice versa.
- Formulates and prepares reports, ready for dissemination to clients, according to Carma style and format.
- Develops a good understanding of, and experience in different clients’ requirements.

Skills
- BA in English, Linguistics, Translation, or any other related field is a must.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in translation or journalism
- Excellent knowledge of, and experience in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Good command of Internet searches.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in translation or journalism
