Key Responsibilities

The Role

As the Director of Planning, you’ll work closely with the ECD, MD and planning department to help build and run the strategy for key accounts and also develop the overarching strategy for new business pitches. You’ll ensure the strategy of the creative is on a brief and also break down the client’s problems and inherently understand their needs, and the brands' consumer needs.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand client’s problems.
• Analyze the target audience and shape the creative based on results.
• Build compelling narratives from insights and data collected.
• Lead strategy discussion with clients.
• Help create and shape strategic function of the creative department.
• Handle a number of projects at any one time and work well under pressure.
• Run inspiring internal briefing sessions.
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure ideas are on-brief.

Skills

• Prior experience leading the strategy for pitches.
• Previous advertising experience.
• Experience developing strategy for a wide range of creative initiatives.
• A strong passion for the creative industries.
• An articulated and compelling storyteller.
• Understanding of industries and consumer behaviours.
