Key Responsibilities
Looking for a Data Specialist / MySQL DBs based in Dubai as contract basis.Must have strong experience in working with massive MySQL DBs (5.7).
Skills
• Experience in designing and implementing different Sharding and Partitioning strategies.
• Has a strong understanding of replicas, lags, RCU and WCU IOPS constraints, Binlog implementations etc.
• Experience in breaking down monolith DBs.
• Can do a quick analysis by looking at the DB, indices, relationships and come back with recommendations on
how to approach the monolith breakup without interrupting production.
• Strong exposure to AWS Aurora RDS.
• Good exposure to Dynamo DB.
• Good exposure to Redis Cluster implementation.
