Key Responsibilities

PR and Communication Manager

Dubai , U.A.E

The role will be working with AYM based in Dubai -

The core responsibility of this role is to increase awareness of, and preference for, AYM Commerce via proactive, managed external and internal communications. This role also provides leadership and support in the delivery of PR objectives related to AYM Commerce’s commercial priorities and strategic initiatives. The primary means to achieve this is through media and public relations activities.

Accountabilities

· Support in devising, managing and executing a targeted, proactive media relations and PR programme for AYM Commerce in support of corporate and regional business/marketing objectives, leveraging all relevant news opportunities.

· Act as a media representative for the region, facilitating productive relationships between AYM Commerce spokespeople and targeted media outlets.

· Establish close working relationships with regional and country business and marketing teams.

· Engage and manage appropriate region-wide and in-country PR consultancy services to enable execution and to inform strategy.

· Deliver crisis communications and issues management support for the region.

· Contribute as a member of the Corporate Communications and regional management teams, sharing functional/regional knowledge and expertise and providing regular reporting, analysis and input regarding regional activities.

· Provide local communications support and advice to AYM Commerce group’s businesses/executives in connection with the company’s growth plans and activities in specific target countries Saudi Arabia.

· Any other duties that may reasonably be required

Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned with the approval of his/her direct manager.

Skills

Competencies

· Extensive experience of working in the Middle East region.

· Relevant experience in the business-to-business travel/services sector preferred.

· Ability to plan, manage and develop corporate brand, image, and public relations programmes in order to raise public awareness of the company and safeguard reputation.

· Demonstrated track record of conducting successful, proactive communications programmes that employ creativity and use of a variety of tools, forums, and media.

· Proven capability for crisis management.

· Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management as well as with outside agencies.

· Ability to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.

· Ability to assimilate a large volume of incoming requests for support, prioritise and manage expectations.

· Ability to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional teams

· Superior business writing and editing skills.

· Strong project management skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills.

· Motivational and persuasion skills.

. Fluent in English and Arabic , any additional language is a plus
