Key Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The position is for NOVO cinemas in UAE.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and provide recommendations on business plans developed by each of the Department and ensure alignment with overall strategy of Novo Cinemas
Oversee budget planning activities for the HR Department.
Oversee the establishment of policies and procedures and security measures for the Department and ensure system and operation’s reliability are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.
Review all reports and documents submitted by Department and prepare periodic reports to the CEO outlining the efficiency and productivity of the support functions activities.
Provide advice and counseling for Novo Cinemas employees as necessary among several levels about the HR functions.
Critically evaluate the costs and benefits of all new ideas and initiatives to ensure that resources are appropriately directed to support Novo Cinemas core and administrative operations.
Manage the identification of staffing requirements to meet Novo Cinemas needs and goals in coordination with other Business Units.
Supervise the development and implementation of a competent talent management system which includes attracting, recruiting, retaining and developing Novo Cinemas professional talents.
Oversee the analysis, development, implementation, and update of fair compensation and benefits system.
Review, update and ensure the implementation of the Organizational Development manual and the compliance from all Departments.
Oversee the development of all necessary procedures to ensure that all Novo Cinemas sites are maintained to a high standard, and provide a safe and healthy environment.
Manage contracts for outsourced or in-house administrative activities such as cleaning and security.
Manage and provide professional support to Managers in the Department.
Provide professional development and perform periodic performance appraisals for Managers in the Department in coordination with the HR & Training Department and approve incremental increases and levels of financial rewards, e.g. bonuses and annual pay increments for staff under immediate control.
Ensure that all employees acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs in coordination with the HR & Training Department.
Develop manpower plans for the Business Support Unit and work with the HR & Training Department on succession planning for key positions in the company.
Manage all HR-related activities conducted by the HR & Training Manager.
Manage all administration -related activities conducted by the Administration Department.
Collaborate with all Novo Cinemas Departments on support services activities.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
12-15 years of Experience
MBA Degree in Human Resources/BA
Project management, process development and policy creation
Experience in managing an end to end payroll process for a minimum of 1000 heads
Knowledge of reward levels in UAE, Qatar and Bahrain markets.
Experience of managing variable pay elements, including Incentives and Bonus
Must be passionate about looking after people just as much as you are about confidentiality and information security
