Conceptualize creative on a monthly basis for content calendars.

Determine how best to represent a concept visually.

Conceptualize and define quick creative wins across 4-5 clients on a monthly basis.

Work effectively on a brief with a copywriter and generate ideas to present to the Creative Director.

Create overall design style and direct other designers who will be developing artwork or layouts. Set a visual stencil/template for the design team to refer to and adapt across all visuals.

Collaborate with creative team, internal account teams and clients to develop creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels.

Stay current on industry trends.

Mentor senior designers on the team by reviewing and approving their designs.

Key Accountabilities:

Attend bi-weekly meetings with clients.

Assist Creative Director in pitches and proposals.

Work closely with the copywriter to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client's brief.

Design creative posts and concepts for a minimum of 4-5 clients on a monthly basis.

Be a main point of contact between the AM team, Creative Director and design team.

Supervise design team, review and approve designs for Tier B & C accounts

Provide monthly conceptual direction on content plans to designers.

Brief members of the creative team on new campaigns/activations.

Produce storyboards to communicate ideas to the client.

Gather client requirements and advise client on all technical, visual recommendations.

Edit the final results for presentation to the client.

Maintain quality check on all posts.

Manage time effectively; completely understanding the client tier system and reviewing the hours spent by other designs across all clients.

Coordinate on a daily basis with the Traffic Manager on assigning tasks and making sure deadlines are met.

Follow agency processes and policies.

Creatively seek out new trends in design and maintain cutting edge industry knowledge.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree from a design school and a minimum of 8 years design experience working in the creative department of a digital agency.
Strong creative, organizational, problem solving, time-management and communication skills.
Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite.
Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Works well with tight deadlines in a team environment.
Able to own projects from conceptual to execution phase independently.
