Key Responsibilities

To create new ideas for branding and any form of design communication. and understand all forms of design and recognize new methods to design.
To analyze trends, look at new data and keep pace up with the times.
To take decisions on final design, final artwork, and finished materials depending upon deadline and set targets, to be a leader and acknowledge clients expectations.
To have clear communications skills to manage and be a team player.
To manage & direct the creative team.
Maintain and keep the team of creative designers on schedule, and manage organize work schedule.
The ability to lead, and inspire, a team of creative people
A solid background of design and art direction
Willingness to work long hours and weekends
Will often be required to travel.
Ensure and maintain a consistent, high quality level of work for all assigned client accounts.
Establish overall direction for client programs and projects, orchestrating all creative aspects.
Synthesize and translate creative briefs to the team, including communicating client account knowledge with them so they understand and articulate brands according to established guidelines and philosophies.
Lead creative development and execution across all tactics and mediums, with cross-platform, omni-channel approaches for a wide variety of projects.
Plan / manage processes and practices to ensure that design programs are aligned with a client’s business goals and objectives, all while identifying potential growth areas.
Is self-motivated, proactive, reliable and accountable
Have deep expertise in and create solutions within mentally
Have the ability to ideas and develop creative concepts from internal brainstorming phases through client delivery and execution
Conceptualize, create, present, defend and execute creative solutions across all, with a focus on brand identity and design
Collaborate seamlessly with experience designers and development teams to ensure the strongest possible best-of-breed solutions.
Participate in client meetings and presentations
Stay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all design and marketing trends
Have outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up
Have a passion for stunning, smart, contemporary design
To be the keeper of the work and the workers, ensuring milestones are met, your team is appropriately utilized, timesheets and expense reports are submitted on time.
Help proactively identify and address inefficiencies among the team and offer growth opportunities when needed.
Identify developmental needs of staff, including training; communicating and implementing productivity standards; evaluating work and talent; and providing instruction.
Leverage and support peers and team members in brainstorms, critiques, etc., to ensure that everyone has a voice and positive collaboration is achieved.
Help shape and build client relationships, articulating our capabilities to potential new business sowing the seeds of opportunity.
To recommend and plan the future design team members and dictate team members needs.
The creative director can expect to: Attend strategy meetings for new business, Meet with creative team to check the status on current projects and assign new projects, Manage clients independently
Lead brainstorming session with creative teams to develop designing concept based on client's needs
Create budgeting proposals for clients
Pitch (convincingly) concepts to clients

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communications or other related field.
Master’s preferred in a relevant design field
Have a minimum of 3-5 years of digital design experience, preferably as an creative director in an design firm
Can take on multiple projects, prioritize, delegate, and keep your cool through
A self-motivated, results-driven and have a positive attitude
Strong portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
Leadership abilities across teams and departments
Strong Decision making skills
Fluency in English & Arabic Reading, Speaking and Writing
Good at prioritizing the work and able to work under pressure
Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)
Highly proficient in all design aspects
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
Good eye on details
Experience in leading projects
Production skills (pre press)
Time management and organization skills
Proactive
Open to work in different design areas
Work under pressure
Ability to innovate and redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Knowledge of working on iMac software.
