Key Responsibilities

Are you a digital media professional? We are currently looking for a Digital Media Director.



The media department is responsible for all media buying for a range of clients in Qatar who have a focus locally and in the region. The ideal candidate should have extensive digital media experience and offline experience is beneficial. You must have a deep understanding of how to reach and influence consumers, delivering results based on a considered and strategic approach to digital marketing. You will be measured on your ability to strategically, creatively and commercially deliver great campaigns for the client and the agency. Our full range of services includes strategising, planning, buying, optimising and reporting off all media channels.

Responsibilities
· Use audience research tools to create and rationalize media plans.

· Leads in the development of media strategies.

· Creation of media plans

· Best campaign optimization techniques to ensure the efficient utilisation of media budget.

· Performs regular performance updates and presentations.

· Liaise directly with clients or client services for creative assets.

· Update clients on regular basis on the status of running campaigns by sharing ongoing reports and campaign appearance proofs/screenshots

· Maintains good relationship with media suppliers

· Negotiate best rates, discounts and bonuses with media suppliers.

· Update clients and client facing staff on the latest media opportunities and industry trends

· Input data into media accounting and finance system

· Responsible for sending and managing bookings with the media suppliers and internally

· Co-ordinates with the finance department in the invoicing process

· Contribute to innovative and creative media executions

· Good command of project management and time management

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related

· 3 to 5 years’ experience in an advertising agency

· Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic an advantage.

· MS Office Skills especially Excel and PowerPoint

Skills

Desirable

· Google AdWords Certified (Facebook Blueprint Certified advantageous)

· Strong practical knowledge of Web analytics systems (Google Analytics)

· Working knowledge of SEO, UX and Programming Basics

· Social media strategies and tactics

· Strong Presentation skills

· Qatar/MENA market knowledge

· Local Traditional media knowledge (TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor)
