Aquaman star Jason Momoa is the new chief island officer of Yas Island Abu Dhabi.

The Hollywood actor has joined Yas Island Abu Dhabi as their new chief island officer.

Yas Island shared the announcement video on its official Instagram account.

“Say Aloha to Jason Momoa,” the caption read, and get ready to “#LiveItUpLikeMomoa.”

The video sees the actor making a casual but grand entrance on a paddleboard. “To this one ridiculously awesome job,” the actor announces as the façade of Yas Island’s W Abu Dhabi lit up to welcome him as the new Chief Island Officer of Yas Island.

The video also sees the 43-year-old actor enjoying adventures at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, riding the fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and drifting on the iconic Yas Marina Circuit.

As per Khaleej Times, the CEO of Miral Destinations, Liam Findlay said that they are “pleased” to have the Hollywood sensation Jason Momoa as Yas Island Abu Dhabi’s new Chief Island Officer.

He added that they have received resounding “feedback following Kevin's Hart farewell campaign”, and that they are excited to “deliver yet another successful storyline” for fans.

Liam Findlay said that they are looking forward to “raising the bar even higher” with Jason Momoa as Yas Island’s newest officer.
