With advancing sports enthusiasm in the Emirates, Abu Dhabi to get its first Khabib Gym at the West Yas Community on Yas Island.

Inspired by the training and fitness philosophy of UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, the gym is still under construction and covers 1,500 square metres. He was the longest-reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, having held the title from April 2018 to March 2021.

Owned by Palms Sports, the gym promises a five-star fitness experience with world-class amenities, that includes a specially constructed MMA cage and internationally accredited instructors and trainers.

The gym will offer a range of martial arts disciplines that includes a large, matted area for grappling sports such as Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, and a separate studio for striking-based sports such as Muay Thai, boxing and kickboxing.

To add to the premium fitness experience in the region, there will be cardio, fitness and cycling areas, as well as functional training zones, padel tennis courts and a swimming pool.

Additionally, the Khabib Gym will have extensive outdoor facilities like a relaxation pool with shaded cabanas, showers and changing rooms, healthy dining options and direct access to the marina and water sports activities.
