In his most recent social media update today, he indicated that an "M4 Mac launch" is planned for next week by Apple, although he did not specify an exact date.

"Next week promises to be eventful for Apple, beginning with Apple Intelligence on Monday, followed by the launch of the M4 Mac, and concluding with the earnings results on Thursday," he noted.

In a recent social media update, Gurman indicated that Apple is extending invitations to journalists and content creators for a hands-on event in Los Angeles scheduled for next Wednesday. He speculates that this suggests the announcement of new Macs will occur prior to that date.

Additionally, leaker Sonny Dickson has asserted that he has information indicating the new Mac mini, featuring five USB-C ports, may be launched this week.

While Dickson has previously provided accurate insights regarding forthcoming Apple products through leaked cases and dummy models, some of his assertions related to hardware have not always been reliable.

Regardless, it appears that Apple is poised to unveil the first Macs equipped with M4 chips within approximately a week, according to these recent reports.
