Bringing unforgettable experiences for visitors with curated itineraries at Dubai’s Expo 2020

There may be a delay in the much-awaited Expo 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, as the event is about to kick-start in October, the excitement has only been larger.

The preparations, too, are in full swing as Dubai is set to welcome numerous visitors to the expo. Expo 2020 is all set to welcome visitors from across the globe and every walk of life who will be able to enjoy outstanding line-ups of sights, sounds and tastes of the event.

Through a series of curated itineraries designed around their passions and interests, the Expo will highlight site-wide attractions appealing to families, couples, students, business travellers and everyone in between. Available in formats of half-day, full-day or three-day, the guided and self-guided journeys will be available through the Expo 2020 Mobile App. The curation will ensure Expo 2020 gives unforgettable experiences for all with its grand opening in October 2021.

 
The Expo Essentials will aim to bring the world in one place with innovations such as the world’s largest radio satellite that is capable of detecting signals from alien life and a ‘4D Bioprinter’ that can reproduce live cells, as well as world fusion music, choirs, and orchestral performances, along with never heard before cuisines from various countries.

From a Beethoven-inspired robo-band to an encounter with a giant sharp-toothed fish, the Expo for Families tour will offer an interactive journey packed with fun, educational experiences for all ages. Couples at the Expo can discover the site’s most romantic offerings like the Al Wasl Plaza –a spectacular night-time light shows on its 360-degree projection surface.

The Architecture and Design Journey at the Expo will visitors through some of the Expo’s architectural wonders like the falcon-shaped UAE Pavilion and self-sustaining buildings and pavilions that merge nature and architecture.

Foodies at the Expo can get a taste of the future of food, discover a star chef, or sample a new cuisine while taking in a show. At the Expo Health and Wellness Journey, visitors can ride a bike or attend a yoga class in Jubilee Park and explore the world of the latest superfoods and discover life-changing healthcare innovations.

The Business and Entrepreneurship Journey will explore how change-makers from around the world strategize to create a lasting impact and the Expo Mobility Journey will showcase next-gen innovations moving data, people, and goods across the world.

The Expo Energy Journey will allow visitors to discover vertical farms and give a glimpse of net-zero energy pavilions. The Expo for Techies and Innovators tour will explore artificial intelligence, space and augmented reality and lunch with robots amidst the break.

The first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region, Expo 2020 will run from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, inviting visitors from around the world.
