Subscription VOD service iflix has launched in Lebanon. With a 30-day free trial, the service kicks off with Egyptian comedy series, Waklinha Wala. A sitcom featuring 30 of the top stars in the Arab world, Waklinha Wala, is co-produced by Shadows (Ahmed Helmy’s Production Company), Front Row and the Kuwait National Cinema Council. The plot depicts the lives of four families living in a rundown building in Cairo’s renowned 5th district as they try to repair and rebuild the deteriorating building.
Other than access to iflix’s online streamign content, the subscription also includes access to multiple devices (five at a time), downloading content and sharing the subcription to enable simultaneous watching on different devices.
Nader Sobhan, Head of iflix MENA says in a statement: “We are incredibly excited to bring iflix’s world class service to Lebanon. Offering users, a fantastic selection of the best TV shows and movies from all over the world, to stream or download on any device of their choice, iflix is primed to revolutionize the way Lebanese consume entertainment.”

With more 170 studio and distributor partnerships, iflix offers exclusive content in the region including Mr. Robot, The Cardinal, Ice, Ransom, Ekhtyar Egbari, Al Raboos, Al Ab Al Rouhi.
Monthly subscriptions for unlimited access to iflix will be priced at 4$. Annual subscriptions will receive a 20% discount off the monthly rate and are priced at incredible $40 per year.
