From Dubai Summer Surprises, Dubai Food Festival to Dubai Fitness Challenge, the Retail Establishment (DFRE) revealed 17 festivals.

With the winter saying goodbye and summer stepping in, Dubai has no dearth of events in the region.

A number of events will be taking place in the emirate in 2022 as Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) announce their calendar.

From Dubai Summer Surprises, Dubai Food Festival to Dubai Fitness Challenge, the Retail Establishment (DFRE) revealed 17 festivals, including citywide events, activations, sales, and new collection launches.

A haven for foodies, the Dubai Food Festival will return from May 2 to 15 featuring bespoke dining experiences and activities such as Dubai Restaurant Week and Etisalat Beach Canteen.

Shopaholics can make the most of their love with the Dubai Summer Surprises shopping festival taking place from July 1 to September 4. The event is returning for its 25th season, bringing with it loads of discounts, sales, raffles and special events.

Fitness buffs can get fitter and better with Dubai Fitness Challenge, all set to take place from October 29 to November 27. Returning to Dubai, the month-long event encourages everyone to reserve 30 minutes a day for exercise. The event also has a range of health and wellness activities such as Dubai Run and Dubai Ride.

Other popular events of the season include Dubai Home Festival, which usually brings major furniture and homeware brands together, offering discounts and special promotions. The event is set to take place from September 30 to October 13.

Various sales and activations for Ramadan, Eid, Diwali, as well as three-day super sales are also in store for visitors in 2022.
