Mashable: The guidelines will come into effect from today.
With the 51st UAE National Day celebrations on the horizon, the Ministry of Interior has issued numerous rules and guidelines that residents must follow, reports Khaleej Times and Arabian Business.
In a tweet, the cabinet has announced 10 rules that must be followed during the holiday:

Marches and random gatherings are prohibited.
Those celebrating National Day must abide by traffic rules and instructions of police personnel.
Using spray of all types by motorists, passengers or pedestrians is prohibited.
The front-to-back number plate must not be effaced, vehicle colour may not be changed, and no blackout or windshield tinting is allowed.
Writing phrases or putting inappropriate stickers on vehicles is prohibited.
Vehicles may not carry passengers more than the authorised number and no passenger is allowed to get out of the windows or open the sunroof of the vehicle at all times.
Vehicles may not be provided with noise materials or have unlicensed additions to the engine structure or extensions that restrict visibility.
Motorists are not allowed to disrupt traffic or block others’ roads.
Showy reckless driving is not permitted on internal and external roads.
It is illegal to cover the side window, and front or rear windshields of the vehicle with stickers or place a front sunshade.

Additionally, the Ministery also released guidelines for residents who drive, reports Khaleej Times. In another tweet, the eight rules ensure there is road safety on National Day.
Decorations must not modify the colours of vehicles, and vehicles must not be overloaded.
Writing offensive phrases or placing inappropriate stickers on vehicles is prohibited.
Front and back licence plates must not be obscured or covered.
Using spray of all types by motorists, passengers or pedestrians is prohibited.
Reckless driving and stunts are completely prohibited.
Rallies are completely prohibited, and motorists must not obstruct traffic or block others' way.
It is illegal to cover the side window, front or rear windshields of the vehicle with stickers or a front sunshade.
Passengers must be safely seated in the vehicle, and never be on to the trunk of a pickup truck, or atop a car.
The Dubai Police states that reckless drivers will be fined Dh2,000, 23 black points, and vehicles can be impounded for 60 days.
Those who have a noisy vehicle will have to pay Dh2,000 and 12 black points. If anyone tints their window that is beyond the mentioned limit will be punished with a Dh1,500 fine.
Motorists stopping in the middle of the road without any reason will be fined Dh1,000 fine and six black points.
