If you’ve got the talent, then JLT’s got the platform for you! Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers community has brought an interesting competition for anyone who is working, living in, or visiting the Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

The online-based competition is a place where one can showcase their talents across five different categories –dance, acting/comedy, music, vocals and sport, and fitness. The panel of judges is choosing seven winners who will present their skills in these given categories.

So how can one participate? Interested contestants can showcase their skills for a specific category and share the video on a public Instagram account with the hashtag #JLTopTalent and the specific hashtag for your chosen category.

To put it across on social media, one can use the hashtags like Dance - #JLTDance, Acting/Comedy - #JLTAct, Music - #JLTPlay, Vocals - #JLTSing, and for Sport and Fitness - #JLTFit. Along with using the hashtags, one also needs to tag @JLTbyDMCC and three friends to qualify for the competition.

Another parameter to win the competition is to have increased likes. Contestants can ask their friends and family to like the video, as winners will be chosen based on the highest number of likes.

The competition’s last date is August 25, 2021, and the winners will get Dhs5,000 in cash from DMCC. The Community Choice Prize will be presented to the participant with the highest number of likes by the JLT community and will receive gift vouchers worth Dhs3,000 from Aestheticon Dubai.

For the Dance competition category, winners will receive free dance classes worth Dhs1,000 from Dance Studios Dubai. The ones winning in the Acting/Comedy Category, winners will receive vouchers worth Dhs1,000 from Rebel Foods, and for Music Category, winners will get vouchers worth Dhs1,000 for self-storage from The Box Self Storage.

The winner of the Vocals Category will receive gift vouchers worth Dhs1,000 from Yugo Sushi, and the winner of the Sport and Fitness Category will receive a three-month gym membership from Fidelity Fitness Club.

Additionally, winners will have to present proof of address or an ownership agreement if you live in JLT, DMCC employment or permanent ID card if you work in JLT, or purchase receipts or a membership card of a value higher than Dhs350 dated in 2021, if you’re a visitor.
