Mashable: Applications can be sent in two ways.

Hajj 2023 registration has opened for pilgrims, reveals Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The applications should be sent to the website for Hajj and Nusuk app by residents of the kingdom. The app also has over 121 services that can help pilgrims from around the world.

So far, there are four types of packages to choose from, including the economic package starting at SR3,984 riyals (Dh3,892). Those visiting can either pay in one go or opt for three instalments, states Saudi Press Agency. The most expensive package is at 11,435 riyals, where pilgrims will reside at the six towers in Mina, near Jamarat.

Kids as young as 12 can also apply for Hajj. Women can perform Hajj without a male guardian (a mahram), and the ministry will give priority to those who have never performed Hajj before or whether there is an availability of vacant seats.

Applicants can bring along their relatives too in the package, but the group should not be bigger than 13 people.

The Ministry has also advised people to receive their Covid-19 and ACYW quadruple meningitis vaccines, which should be received at least 10 days before their journey. Residents must carry a valid residency visa until the end of the Hijri year.

Those wishing to apply outside Saudi Arabia can do so from Nusuk app. This “individual pilgrims” service aims to improve channels with how they apply for the pilgrimage.

The government has disclosed that pilgrims from Tunisia, the UK, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Kuwait must use the Saudi Visa Bio app to get their biometrics registered to obtain a visa. Pilgrims will receive their Umrah visa online before they came to the Kingdom. Moreover, visa for Umrah visa has been extended from 30 to 90 days.
