All the adventure lovers in the Middle East, a new adventure awaits all as Sharjah introduces a first-of-its-kind tourism project in the region—Nomad that brings a close to the nature travel experience.

Offering one of the most exciting travel experiences throughout the year, Nomad will have 20 airstream trailers that will move around the emirate periodically, setting up in any landscape which is more suitable at that time of year.

As the name suggests, Nomad aims to give every traveller an authentic nomadic experience of travel. Voyagers will get to experience the beauties and specialities of different seasons if different destinations, whilst stopping by the picturesque locations.

The idea which was propagated by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) was announced at World Travel Market 2021 in London and finally, it is going to materialise.

The airstream trailers or caravans will also consist of various activities and experiences available at each location. Made in an environment-friendly manner, the trailers will leave minimal environmental impact behind. Without hampering the flora or fauna of the region, the trailers will voyage across the emirates.

While the exact destinations or the locations of the tour are yet to be disclosed, but adventurers can expect places like the coastline of Sharjah, the mystic deserts of Mleiha or even on the gorgeous peaks of the Khor Fakkan mountains.

The Nomad aims to bring the busy-schedule people out of their regular and faded life routines, whilst having to live the trailer life, that they haven’t experienced before. Ideal for families, friends and couples, the Nomad will offer a great vacationing option to spend quality time together.

The Nomad project joins the range of Shurooq’s recent ecotourism and hospitality developments launched and completed this year, some of which are Mysk Moon Retreat in the Mleiha region and the latest tourism developments in the cities of Khorfakkan and Kalba.
