One UI 4.1 includes Google Duo Live Sharing, an improved Object Eraser that can remove shadows and reflections, and a more comprehensive Grammarly integration into the Galaxy keyboard.

Samsung has been pretty excellent with its software updates recently. All eyes were first drawn to the company's impressive rollout of its flagship and premium devices months ahead of schedule with the Android 12-based One UI 4.

When Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 in February and the latest version of its operating system, One UI 4.1, with various new features and updates, the company said this week that the current version of its skin would come to previous Galaxy Fold/Flip, S, Note, and A-series handsets. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold3, Flip3, and Galaxy S21 series are currently receiving the latest software update.

XDA reports that the CVC5 firmware and the March 2022 security patch are included in the One UI 4.1 upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3. On top of everything else, this update fixes issues with Immersive mode so that the status and navigation bars are now correctly hidden.

In Canada, the CVBA firmware for the Galaxy S21 series is now available to users on Rogers, Telus, and Sasktel networks.

You may check if the One UI 4.1 firmware is available to you by going to Settings > Software update and tapping the Download and Install icon. Samsung has a history of quickly expanding the availability of its upgrades to new devices and locations around the world, so a wider rollout should begin next week.

Among the new features in One UI 4.1 is Google Duo Live Sharing, an improved Object Eraser with the ability to remove shadows and reflections, more comprehensive integration of Grammarly into the Galaxy keyboard, and a number of camera enhancements similar to those found on the Galaxy S22 series such as Night Portrait, telephoto portrait video, enhanced Snapchat integration, and pet recognition.
