Mashable: On the occasion of International Youth Day, his highness addressed the youths of UAE in a special video.

Sheikh Mohammed celebrated the achievements of UAE youths by sharing a special video.

Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum addressed the youths of UAE as the protectors of the country.

As the world celebrates International Youth Day on Friday, August 12, Sheikh Mohammed shared a video on his official Twitter account where he is celebrating the achievement of Emirati youths in various fields.

Sharing the video, the Dubai ruler wrote, “The youth of the Emirates are the fuel of our renaissance.. The youth of the Emirates are the guarantee of our future.. The youth of the Emirates are the protectors of our home.. Whoever bets on others is a loser.. and whoever is firm with them is the winner.”

In the video, Sheikh Mohammed is heard saying, “The UAE and the Union has achieved its biggest success… its youths. They are the future.”

He continues, “They are the ones that will take matters into their own hands in the future. I was young once like you. And my dreams did come true. After the hardships, good days followed.”

Sheikh Mohammed advised the youth to learn from the history of the nation and the old days. He told the youth to work hard and with willpower so that they could continue to thrive.

The one-minute-long video shows the youths of the UAE practicing in different fields. At the end of the video, the text is shown, “Emirati youth are our pride in all fields”
