The availability of edtech hasn't just saved students from losing out on education during the pandemic, but has also opened doors for innovation to transform classrooms of tomorrow. With schools and campuses in different parts of the Emirates preparing for a return to in-person lessons, gadgets and online solutions are facilitating the rise of hybrid classrooms.

While AI teachers were being touted as the future of education even in the pre-pandemic days, public schools in Abu Dhabi are set to use computer vision to protect students. At the same time Abu Dhabi University has strengthened its digital infra, to help new pupils get acquainted with the campus, and knowhow being offered.

The university has created a set of workshops and seminars, which freshers can attend virtually for guidance from advisors. As part of the digital orientation proceedings, seniors will guide their younger peers through the facilities available on campus, along with academic programmes and life as a student at ADU.

Apart from the online sessions, those who've enrolled for courses can also communicate with academic advisors via Microsoft Teams, in order to clear doubts. Apart from this, candidates from any part of the world get to schedule virtual campus tours, and as of now 5000 students have already come on board for the programme.

With hundreds of high school students lining up as aspirants for attending Abu Dhabi University, the recruitment body has handled 40 sessions to shed light on courses and everyday activities for students.

The smart push also goes beyond orientation, and offers free courses to students, parents, teachers as well as staff members. The initiatives are part of a comprehensive strategy to help students adjust with the academic culture at Abu Dhabi University, and also seek to prepare them for professional life.

Popularity of the courses offered by the institution is reflected from the fact that 13,000 people signed up for them online.
