Starcom Middle East, part of the Global media communications agency Starcom Worldwide, has been appointed to handle Dubai Corporation for Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), following a competitive tendering process involving the industry leading agencies. The scope of work includes the entire media mandate of Dubai Tourism for GCC and regional media including social.
The account will be effective from April 10, 2017, a statement said.

DCTCM is responsible for the branding, promotion and marketing of the emirate of Dubai. It is dedicated to working with private and public sector tourism and commerce partners to promote Dubai’s position as a leading international business and leisure destination around the world.
DCTCM has a mandate which includes promoting the Emirate as a prime destination for tourism, entertainment, and events, promoting the its credentials for global business, with essential facilities, infrastructure, events and expertise required to facilitate trade; and attracting regional and international businesses to establish offices in the Emirate.
