With the fanfare, the food, and coming together of all the cultures under one umbrella, Global Village is sure an amalgamation of all the fun and frolic. With Dubai buzzing with events, wondering when will Global Village Dubai be back for the 2021-2022 season?

Making you wait no more, Global Village will be back this winter as the authorities have announced that it will reopen on October 26 and run until April 10, 2022. While the dates have been announced, more updates about the upcoming season are soon to follow.

Once Global Village opens on October 26, 2021, visitors will be treated to brand-new attractions. From Thailand-inspired Umbrella Market, the Railway Market will offer desserts, to heated merchandise from across Asia and the rest of the world, this year is going to be even more exciting. One can find 14 train carriages with more than 30 venues selling desserts, frozen yogurt, baked goods, drinks, and confectionaries amidst other things.

While the last two years have been a little slow due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village plans for more digital transformation and it now also has a Global Village mobile app for seamless purchases and easy navigation through the sprawling grounds. The app also uses artificial intelligence to protect guests and staff members, including an autonomous security robot.

At their 25th edition, Global Village also broke 25 Guinness World Records in honour of the Silver Jubilee anniversary. Representing the 78 cultures that were present at Global Village during its 25th season, 20 skydivers jumped from an altitude of more than 4,570 meters, lighting the skies with 78 fireworks. They won the title for ‘Highest altitude fireworks display.’
