Mashable: The Twitter Circle feature, if you've never used it, lets you select a group of people with whom you want to share tweets.

Twitter's Close Friends feature, which is similar to Instagram's, is now available to all users. Twitter Circle is a new feature that was only made available to a small set of users at the beginning of this month.

The Twitter Circle feature, if you've never used it, lets you select a group of people with whom you want to share tweets. Allowing users to share particular tweets with a specific group of people rather than the entire Twitter community is what this does.

It's been about a month since Twitter began testing the feature and has now chosen to make it available to more people around the world. As soon as you open Twitter on your computer or mobile phone, you'll receive a pop-up alerting you that you've been selected.

Following the procedures outlined below will allow you to play around with this new feature:

In order to post a tweet, open Twitter and press the Tweet button.

Just below your profile photo, you'll notice a new 'Everyone' option that you can choose from. Select "Everyone" from the drop-down menu.

To send a tweet to a specific set of people, pick 'Twitter Circle.' To add people to your Twitter Circle for the first time, click 'Edit' and then 'Recommended.' This will take you back to the main page.

It's now time to compose and send out your tweets as usual. Tweets shared with people in your Twitter Circle will have a green note beside them to remind you.

As of right now, Twitter Circles may hold up to 150 individuals, and anyone can join, regardless of whether they follow you or not. Even though Twitter has prohibited retweets for Twitter Circle, users can still screenshot and share tweets.
