An electric scooter race is soon coming to the United Arab Emirates.

For the first time ever the UAE will witness a high-speed electric scooter race.

Winter in Dubai brings a season of sport. With Golf, sailing, and marathon running already confirmed, the Emirates is all set to witness something that is completely new.

Dubai is bringing UAE’s first-ever electric scooter championship this year.

On Saturday, December 16, 2023, Dubai is set to experience a completely new Electric Scooter Cup with some of the best riders in the world taking part in it.

So mark your calendars and get ready to witness the epic championship which will take place on the streets of Dubai.

According to Time Out, the Federation for Micromobility and Sport announced the major event in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council.

To celebrate sustainability, new mobility, safety, and inclusivity, the Dubai Electric Scooter Cup will feature a total of 16 top male and female riders.

The Dubai Sports Council recently took to its official Instagram account and shared an announcement video of the first edition of the new championship for speed racing.

The Dubai Electric Scooter Cup 2023 is organized in Dubai with the support of the Dubai Sports Council for the first time in the Middle East.

To win the title of the first Electric Scooter Cup Champion, the riders will compete together in a knockout-style race at speeds of more than 100 kmph.

Meanwhile, the RS-Zero DXB edition which is the fastest electric race scooter in the world will be used as the equipment.
