WhatsApp is constantly experimenting with new features to make the user experience better. And it has now come to light that WhatsApp is testing a new feature called ‘review’ that will allow WhatsApp users to preview their voice note or voice message before sending them.

The feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo, a popular website that pushes updates around new WhatsApp features. As per the report, the review button feature is currently is under development. This means that even the WhatsApp beta users won’t be able to check out the feature.

“WhatsApp already had a similar feature to review voice messages, but the way to trigger the feature was very cumbersome, for example switching to a different section before sending the voice message. This new feature will add a new Review button, that you can easily tap to listen to the voice message,” states WABetaInfo. WhatsApp will be rolling out the feature in a future update for both iOS and Android users.

WhatsApp has been working on a slew of other features. For instance, it was recently reported that WhatsApp would soon allow its users to export and import chats between Android and iOS devices. The new chat migration feature will help users easily switch between the two platforms without having to rely on a third-party app. This feature is also currently in the works and will be released for users in future updates for iOS and Android.
