In an exciting development for Lego enthusiasts in Dubai, the world's largest Lego store has recently opened its doors at Dubai International Airport. This expansive store, a collaboration between Lagardere Travel Retail and Lego Travel Retail, occupies an impressive 190 square meters at the B Gates in Terminal 3, offering a captivating experience for travelers.

Designed to mimic giant Lego bricks, the store goes beyond a traditional retail space, incorporating interactive zones aimed at sparking creativity and engagement. Upon entering, customers are greeted with an innovative Minifigure Scanner that brings Lego characters to life on the screen through a simple hand scan.

The store boasts an extensive selection of both classic and latest Lego sets, catering to enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can explore iconic collections and discover the endless possibilities within the Lego universe.

A standout feature is the Digibox, an augmented reality solution enhancing the Lego experience. Customers can witness a short animation of a creator set being built by presenting it in front of the screen's camera, revealing movable elements and adding a dynamic layer to the shopping experience.

Adding to the visual appeal, the store showcases a stunning mosaic wall depicting the iconic Dubai skyline. Crafted with meticulous detail, the artwork required 134 hours of work, consisting of 33,219 bricks, and weighing an impressive 62 kilograms. Additionally, a remarkable 3D Lego pilot, towering over 190cm, captures attention. This intricate installation took 180 hours to construct, utilizing 45,033 bricks and weighing 134 kilograms, providing travelers with an extraordinary photo backdrop.

Celebrating the grand opening in conjunction with World Lego Day, passengers in Concourse B were treated to the presence of a walkabout Lego pilot from January 25 to 28. As part of the festivities, over 1,000 Lego gifts were generously distributed to travelers, enhancing the overall excitement surrounding the launch of this colossal Lego store at DXB.
