Instagram just added private likes as a new option for users to interact with Stories.

As of late, Instagram has added a new feature to Stories: private likes. Another option to respond to stories from your friends may be on the way, according to the company's current plans. Instagram is working on allowing users to send voice notes in response to Stories, according to developer Alessandro Paluzzi, who is recognized for reverse engineering programs to discover new features.

It's important to point out that not every feature that the company develops in secret is released to the public. After the introduction of Instagram private Story likes, the social media platform stated that its goal was to eliminate inbox clutter. However, adding the ability to send audio messages would go against this ethos, making it more difficult to accomplish what you can currently do within the app.

Intriguingly, just a few months ago, the developer said that Meta was also working on a feature that would allow users to arrange their articles in the order they like. Previously, Paluzzi had stated, "Instagram is currently working on allowing you to change the profile grid, allowing you to rearrange posts in any order you wish."

Separately, Instagram has rolled out a number of new features to its platform lately. Instagram's latest update “Chronological Feed” adds the Following and Favorites tabs. The Following option allows you to explore Instagram posts from people you've chosen to follow. In other words, unlike the normal Home page, you will not see suggested posts in the Following tab.

The Favorites tab, on the other hand, allows you to select specific Instagram accounts that you follow and view their posts in a separate chronological stream. It is important to note that you should be following the person in order to add them to your Favorites list. You can add up to 50 Instagram accounts to your Favorites list.
