Mission
Our mission has always been to become a media institution that seeks to integrate its contribution in the construction of our beloved homeland and Qatar National Vision 2030. We aim to serve this vision to international standards and to become a national pride to the testament of our Emir's dedication to building Qatar into the epitome of modernization and tradition that our country is today.

Vision
Along the years, the visionary management of the Dar Al Sharq Group has grown its activities exponentially and has expanded the core journalism mission of its debut beyond expectations.

History
In 1986, a small group of businessmen were publishing a newspaper called "Gulf Today". A year later, the ownership of the newspaper was transferred to different shareholders who had a vision for the media environment in Qatar and have since worked relentlessly to make Dar Al Sharq Group what it stands for today: the most renowned and powerful integrated media house in Qatar.
