The idea of Orient Media Group started with Orient News TV. After a study, it was evident that there were no specialized satellite channels specified for the Syrian viewer, and his private life and his economic, cultural and social daily problems. There were private non-Syrian channels that address Syrian people with a language far from Syrian Society, which varies socially and culturally. Accordingly, the owner of the Group, Mr. Ghassan Aboud has decided to create Syrian media platform, which transfer the true image of Syrian Society and in a civil way far from vulgarity and exaggeration. With that trend, we looked forward to achieve high televiewing rates through polarizing the Syrian viewers in and outside Syria and polarizing the Arab viewer who is passionate to be acquainted with the details of Syrian life through a group of programs interested in the Arab viewer as well.
