In 2008, Tonnit Design & Advertising LLC (TDA) was envisioned as a Creative Design agency by creative entrepreneur Tonnit Thomas, who has over 17 years of international agency experience, both in India and the UAE. By 2009, TDA began work on prestigious real estate and luxury clients including Ferretti Yachts, for which the agency won the World Luxury Award 2009 in Monaco.

In 2010, TDA won the Masdar account in Abu Dhabi, In under 6 years, the agency's out-of-the-box creative solutions helped garner varied government and semi-government clients along with leading financial institutions, fashion, retail and FMCG clients.
The agency has also been recognized by the Government of Dubai in 2011 as one of Dubai's Top 100 Small & Medium Enterprise (Dubai SME 100) for its outstanding business growth, while the CEO, Tonnit Thomas was lauded as Dubai's Top 100 SME CEO's. In the same year, TDA was recognized as one of the top Arabia 500 companies. Lürzer's Int’l Archive's online edition featured TDA as the most published creative agency of 2011, while the agency's CEO and creative head, Tonnit Thomas was featured as the No. 1 Creative Director for the year 2010-2011.
In 2012, the agency was commissioned various project by the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). TDA has also had the privilege of creating packaging design for global brands like Coca Cola and designing the limited edition Dubai Duty Free pack for Chivas Regal. In 2013, TDA was once again awarded by the Government of Dubai as one of Dubai's Top 100 SME's of 2013.
