The solution is designed for attracting businesses by offering accurate descriptions of vacant spaces at the industrial zone.

The move towards a digital ecosystem has prompted businesses in the UAE to embrace innovative tech, including AI, cloud computing and 3D printing, to benefit from seamless data sharing as well as efficient manufacturing. The rise of the Emirates as a space which used connectivity and online platforms to overcome a pandemic, has also attracted more expats, professionals and entrepreneurs, towards the country for making the best of its resources.

Technology has also been deployed at ecosystems like malls to facilitate offline businesses with data-driven insights, while investment in the country has surged through online channels. Joining cities like Dubai and Sharjah in attracting investment via digitisation, the UAE's Ajman Free Zone has now launched a geographical information system, which is designed to provide details about vacant sites to entrepreneurs who seek to set up a business in the Emirate.

Unveiled at the GITEX tech week in Dubai, the platform will provide a 360 degree view of the spaces in Ajman Free Zone, along with information required by business owners. The map will also include information on related facilities in the vicinity, so that users can zero in on the most suitable site according to their preferences.

For further guidance, a virtual assistant for navigation is also available among services, that include a system to conduct a digital evaluation of the location, before booking it online. The mechanism linked to the customer portal, is accompanied by a robot called Ghaith, which introduces an interactive experience into client support.

Other than that GPS is also integrated into the geographical info platform, which allows users to explore public spaces remotely, before deciding where to set up their venture.

The move to boost investment by offering efficient tech assistance, is being showcased at the event along with digital products including a 3D map of assets across Dubai, created by its municipality using geospatial data.
