The film will be back to the cinemas for a limited time, with tickets currently on sale at cinema outlets.
Two decades later, watching a Harry Potter film or reading a book never gets old. For the ones who have grown up wanting to have their own ‘Hogwarts letter’, it is time to get nostalgic as the film series celebrates its 20-year anniversary.
To mark two decades of the wizarding world, cinemas across the UAE and Saudi Arabia will showcase Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first in the epic eight-part movie series.
The film will be back to the cinemas for a limited time, with tickets currently on sale at Vox Cinemas, Novo Cinemas, Oscar Cinema and Reel Cinemas and some other outlets in the UAE.
Bringing all the childhood nostalgia back, the screening also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the first film, which was released towards the end of 2001. It’s also in tandem with the launch of Mall of the Emirates’ interactive ‘Harry Potter – Celebrate Hogwarts’ pop-up experience.
Not just that, earlier this month, the retrospective special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, also released to commemorate 20-years of the milestone anniversary, taking fans on an emotional and nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Additionally, on the purchase of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone film tickets, fans can get a chance to win tickets to see ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ — the latest adventure in the Harry Potter universe.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was directed by Chris Columbus and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Richard Harris, Maggie Smith and Robbie Coltrane.
