The iconic Dubai Run is set to take place on Sheikh Zayed Road, which is expected to see thousands of people running, jogging or walking their way to a more active lifestyle.
Encouraging the fitness and running enthusiasts of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, calls people to participate in the Dubai Run which is all set to take place on November 26, 2021.
The run will mark the end of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2021 which has been going for 30 days. Sheikh Hamdam took to social media to urge Emiratis to put on their running shoes and join the run to promote fitness.
“Join me in the Dubai Run, one of the most prominent activities of the Dubai Fitness Challenge on November 26th… Sheikh Zayed Road will turn into a track for competition and excellence...With your participation, we will make Dubai the most active city in the world,” he shared on Instagram.
The Crown Prince of Dubai’s 30-day fitness challenge, which began in 2017, returned for its fifth year, delivering thousands of free workout sessions around the emirate. The fitness challenge was also joined by many online.
The iconic Dubai Run is set to take place on Sheikh Zayed Road, which is expected to see thousands of people running, jogging or walking their way to a more active lifestyle while replacing cars on the city’s famous highway.
The registrations for the run are open and has been split into a family-friendly 5-kilometre route and a more challenging 10km for recreational and professional runners.
The run will commence at the famous Museum of the Future, taking the runners through the scenic route of Emirates Towers, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa before finishing up at Al Mustaqbal Street near Dubai World Trade Centre.
