Mashable: The ‘Care’ initiative launched by Sheikh Hamdan triumphs in providing health services

Aimed at establishing an integrated health system, the "Care" initiative which was launched by the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has delivered exceptional services.

Sheikh Hamdan who is also the Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs, launched the programme in May 2023.

On October 1, 2023, the Dubai Media Office revealed that the "Care" initiative has delivered 11,681 health services to senior citizens and people of determination.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the Dubai Media Office confirmed that within just four months of its launch, the "Care" initiative has provided 11,681 comprehensive health services.

The initiative aims to realise the vision of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to utilize all efforts to deliver the highest standards of care to senior citizens and people of determination in the Emirates.

According to Khaleej Time, through a network of healthcare facilities, the initiative managed to provide 10,665 medical services with home healthcare services to senior citizens between May 3 and August 31. The programme also delivered 1,016 health services to people of determination.

The Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs overlooks the "Care" initiative which seeks to develop an integrated health system to enhance the quality of life and deliver healthcare services to senior citizens and People of Determination.

The initiative has offered many services including home nursing applications, hospitalisation services, social services, as well as addressing the inquiries from the guardians of senior citizens and People of Determination.
