After gaining the tag of one of the friendlier cities in the world, Dubai, no doubt has become a favourite pick for a lot of visitors globally.
The facilities, the infrastructures, the hospitality, crisp white beaches, the ever-growing food and nightlife scenes of Dubai have been making it a prime pick for professionals from all parts of the world. But now, according to an in-depth study by Boston Consulting Group, a management consulting firm and global recruitment alliance, The Network, Dubai has been among the world’s top five cities for worker relocation.
According to the report –Decoding Global Talent, Onsite and Virtual, Dubai third and Abu Dhabi has been the fifth most desirable destination for people who are willing to work overseas. The report, which took three months to complete, had over 2 lakh respondents from 190 countries stating that they are willing to move from their country of residence to work in another.
Pierre Antebi, co-managing director of The Network and one of the report’s authors in comments shared, “Hiring people from other countries is not a new practice for employers. But the trend of remote working makes it possible to do it on a broader scale and expand the available talent pool. There’s also an upside for workers, who can advance their careers without uprooting their lives.”
The diverse demographic that Dubai brings just that, makes it easier for the working professionals to adapt quickly and at the same time enjoy leisure time post busy working hours.
Not just that, Abu Dhabi was also named in the list of top five, ranking fifth. London is in the top spot, followed by Amsterdam, in the second position, Dubai in the third position, followed by Abu Dubai and Berlin ranking on number four.
