Etisalat Exclusive Deal With BBC Worldwide

Pay broadcaster E-Vision has struck its first exclusive content deal with BBC Worldwide for its SVoD service. The deal was sealed at TV market MIPCOM.

E-Vision, based in the Middle East, has secured a package of BBCWW shows from a range of genres, i ncluding dramas War & Peace and Wolf Hall, factual show Wild Mexico and several seasons of comedies Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em and Citizen Khan. Music events such as Last Night of the Proms and preschool content Hey Duggee, Go Jetters and Sarah & Duck are also included.

BBC Worldwide is delighted to be answering this need by bringing the very best of premium British content at pace, directly to E-Vision clientele, including eLife TV subscribers,” said Natasha Hussain, vice president and general manager for the Middle East and Mediterranean region, BBC Worldwide.

E-Vision operates 550 TV channels in HD, 3D and 4K, and offers 10,000 hours of TVoD and SVoD content to 22 countries across MENA.
