"Exelx", a leading battery rehabilitation technology developer has announced its participation in the global conference dedicated to recycling and reusing electric vehicle batteries. The conference took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on the 23rd and 24th of October, where Exelx was a sponsor.
Exelx showcased its extensive expertise in battery testing, maintenance, and the use of regenerative technology. The company took advantage of being in the conference to showcase its latest innovations and advanced solutions in this field.
The company's team engaged in discussions with European and international battery technology specialists, focusing on battery reuse and recycling, to determine the future of consumed batteries and develop global regulations to keep pace with the rapid advancements in this sector.
According to a Bloomberg report, the total battery waste expected to lose effectiveness by 2030 is over 12 million tons. Exelx works on battery reuse and recycling solutions to reduce adverse environmental effects and conserve energy. Recently, they have processed over 30,000 nickel-type cells. These cells were successfully reused in hybrid vehicles, covering distances up to 25,000 kilometres without any malfunction, reducing the carbon footprint by more than 350 tons of carbon emissions within a year.
In response to this participation, Ghassan Al Asaad, the founder and CEO of the company, stated, 'At Exelx, we are committed to providing a sustainable solution to the issue of discarded electric batteries. Through our cutting-edge battery rehabilitation technologies, we aim to reduce environmental impacts and contribute to energy preservation. We take pride in our participation in this significant conference and in offering our solutions to the world to build a better future."
