On Tuesday, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, opened its regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, inaugurated the office.

Sheikh Hamdan stated in a series of tweets, "Dubai continues to strengthen its partnerships with major international technology companies in order to shape the future."

According to a report by Gulf News, the company will manage its regional operations in MENA and support more than three billion users globally from Dubai.

On Tuesday, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, opened its regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, inaugurated the office.

Sheikh Hamdan stated in a series of tweets, "Dubai continues to strengthen its partnerships with major international technology companies in order to shape the future."

According to a report by Gulf News, the company will manage its regional operations in MENA and support more than three billion users globally from Dubai.

"Dubai's infrastructure and business environment have helped establish the emirate as a global hub for major technology companies. Today, Dubai Internet City employs 95,000 people who work and live in Dubai," Sheikh Hamdan explained.

According to Ammar Al Malik, Managing Director of Dubai Internet City, the UAE's growth has been fueled by Dubai's reputation for business friendliness and global competitiveness. The emirate's economic diversification and digital transformation have been facilitated by Dubai Internet City for over two decades.

"Tech giants like Meta and Visa play an essential role in enriching innovation with their wealth of resources and insight, and boost the export of digital solutions designed for the needs of regional consumers," he added.
