Saudi Arabia will be the first one to witness the world premiere of Disney Princess—The Concert.

While other Disney fans might have to wait for a while, Saudi Arabia will be the first one to witness the world premiere of Disney Princess—The Concert. As a part of Disney’s year-long Ultimate Princess Celebration, the popular musical is a part of their world tour.

Presented by the Riyadh International Book Fair, the event is produced by Disney Concerts in association with Impresario Live and organised by Benchmark events company in the kingdom.

The excitement is at its peak for the fans, as it is also the first Disney concert to take place in Saudi Arabia.

Taking place at King Fahad Cultural Centre in Riyadh till October 9, the tour will bring Drama Desk-nominee Christy Altomare, Tony-nominee Susan Egan, Grammy-nominee Courtney Reed and Broadway World Award-winner Syndee Winters, alongside music director Benjamin Rauhala and enchanting Prince, Adam Joseph, to the Saudi capital.

For the concert, Broadway stars will perform iconic songs sung by Disney princesses Belle, Jasmine, Nala and Anastasia and tracks like A Whole New World from Aladdin, How Far I’ll Go from Moana and Let It Go from Frozen will be performed.

Not just the fans, Broadway actors are equally excited to be a part of the concert in Riyadh. “We are having the best time in Riyadh, KSA. The show is coming together SO beautifully!” wrote Broadway actress Syndee Winters, who plays Nala from ‘The Lion King,’ on her Instagram handle, sharing her eagerness.

Previously, Disney Concerts had cancelled the fall dates for the tour due to concerns over COVID-19. The concert tour was supposed to launch in Macon, Georgia, on November 1, however, all performances originally planned through December 12 will now be rescheduled for 2022, Disney Concerts announced on social media.
