Publicis Media has promoted Gerry Boyle to CEO of the company’s Europe Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. This role expands Boyle’s current remit as CEO of the company’s APAC region to include oversight of EMEA operations.
In the latter role, he succeeds Iain Jacob who is departing the agency to pursue other opportunities.
Boyle will continue to report to Publicis Media CEO Steve King.
Boyle will maintain a busy schedule as he continues to chair the Publicis Media Global Investment Council and lead Global Partnerships for Publicis Groupe.
Prior to his Publicis Media roles, Boyle served as global managing partner and chairman of ZenithOptimedia APAC.
Concurrently, Nicole Pruesse has been elevated to COO PM APAC, in addition to her current EMEA COO responsibilities.
The unified leadership structure is designed to further PM’s goal of simplifying its organizational structure. Tim Jones continues as CEO Publicis Media Americas.
The departing Jacob will be staying with the company through May to ensure a smooth transition, per the company.
