Google Play Games for PC is a new service that will allow you to play Android games on your Windows computer when it launches in the future. Since hearing about it in late 2021, the service has gone live in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan, with the first beta version. This beta, in contrast to the majority of Google's betas, will not be available in the United States and many other regions.
It was previously learned that many countries would receive a beta version of the service, but as spotted by Mishaal Rahman, the beta has now begun. Google Play Games for PC is an Android game storefront for Windows users that enables you to play titles on your computer in addition to your phone or tablet. The video below demonstrates how the beta software looks like.
Among the games visible in this footage are Asphalt 9: Legends, Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire, Summoners War, and Idle Heroes. Google has stated that titles will vary by region, so it is possible that additional games will be included when the product launches at a later date.
The beta requires a minimum of Windows 10 software, 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 20GB of available storage space in order to play these games. According to a previous report by Android Police, Google confirmed that it has more beta markets planned in the future. There is a possibility that Play Games for PC will be available for testing at a later date before its official release.
