Mashable: For the past few weeks, Instagram has been testing out this new feature by only releasing it to a tiny subset of its worldwide user base.

Select users will soon be able to schedule posts directly within the Instagram app, eliminating the need for third-party tools like Meta's Creator Studio.

Meta has introduced a new feature that allows companies and creators to pre-schedule Reels, photographs, and carousels for up to 75 days from within the app. For the past few weeks, Instagram has been testing out this new feature by only releasing it to a tiny subset of its worldwide user base.

Eligible users will be able to utilize the functionality by clicking the "Advanced Settings" button after they have written their post but before they share it with their followers. They may then choose when they'd like their post to go live by toggling the "Schedule this post" switch. After finishing editing, they must return to the original post and choose "Schedule."

Scheduled posts, as reported by TechCrunch, can be accessed under the "Scheduled Content" area accessible via the hamburger menu. The functionality might be easier to use, but it does do away with the requirement to utilize the Creator Studio website or app.

Instagram hasn't said anything about a complete deployment, so it's unclear if the functionality will ever be accessible to regular users. However, Instagram also announced its new in-app planner alongside the introduction of Achievements. Unlocking them requires the creator to perform a series of tasks, such as working with another creator or building a Reel containing polls or quizzes.
